Champagne Daniel Dumont

Vineyard location

The Champagne Daniel Dumont vineyard covers 10.5 hectares of vines in 4 villages on the Montagne de Reims, including Villers-Allerand, Rilly-La-Montagne, Chigny-Les-Roses and Ludes, in 2 villages on the Côte de Sézanne with Sézanne and Vindey, and in the Vallée de la Marne with Barzy sur Marne. The estate's grape varieties are dominated by Chardonnay (40%), followed by Pinot Noir (34%) and Pinot Meunier (27%).

Since March 2019, the estate's entire vineyard area has been HVE (High Environmental Value) certified. This certification is based on criteria of respect for biodiversity, phytosanitary strategies and fertilization.

Know-how

The identity of Daniel Dumont Champagnes comes entirely from their own production. All stages of production, from pressing to sale, are carried out exclusively on the estate.

The harvest is meticulously sorted by plot.

The grapes are pressed in their own pressing center, at low pressure to extract the highest-quality juice. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to ensure that the winemaking process runs smoothly.
