Champagne Gardet Dosage Zéro :
Gardet Dosage Zéro champagne has a pure style and bewitching depth.
The ripeness of the reserve wines leaves this nectar untouched by any dosage, pure and chiselled like a diamond point. The straightforwardness of Pinot is combined with a charming, mineral Chardonnay.
As its name suggests, Dosage Zéro does not add sugar at disgorgement. This changes the tasting experience, and requires even more rigorous work throughout the production of the cuvée.
Zéro Dosage Chez Gardet relies on the roundness of the reserve wines and the time given to them in the cellar to ensure the optimal balance between the salience provoked by the absence of sugar and the suppleness due to the ageing of a carefully selected set of wines.
Blend: A combination of wines aged in stainless steel vats and in oak foudres, from several harvest years.
Liquor content: 0 g/L (brut zéro, brut nature)
Ageing: 5 to 7 years
Tasting :
Optimum serving temperature: between 8 and 10°C
Robe: Pale gold with silver highlights.
Nose: Very delicate. Notes of white flowers, citrus, spices. More gourmand aromas of yellow fruit, brioche, vanilla.
Palate: Fresh, lively. Notes of yellow fruit, vanilla and brioche. Some spice, structure and mineral finish with notes of grapefruit.
