The commune of Chigny-les-Roses is located on the Montagne de Reims.
Ideally situated between Reims and Épernay, winegrowers have been cultivating vines since the eighteenth century. The terroir has been classified as a Premier Cru Champagne since 1927.

Its terroir comprises 132 hectares of vines spread over 36 localities. Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay account for almost all the vines.

There are 42 harvester-manipulators and officially at least 120 winegrowers.

The commune of LUDES is located on a hillside. To the south lies the Montagne de Reims and its forest. And on the other three sides, the vineyards. The Ludes area covers 1,222 hectares, 416 of which are forest and 318 are vineyards with Champagne appellation.
