Nose: The 1st nose is discreet, still very restrained. Then it takes off with notes of chlorophyll and menthol. White fruit then enters this airy, delicate aromatic universe.
On the palate: The fruity citrus fruit dominates the envelope. The structure is extraordinarily fresh. The finish is beautifully taut, with a noble bitterness.
Liquor content: 9 g/L (crude)
Ageing: 3 years
Optimum serving temperature: between 8 and 10°C
Champagne Thierry Collin Père et Fils is a family rooted in LUDES for 4 generations Roland COLLIN was the first to work the Jupin family vines in the 1940s-1950s.
The estate covers 7.5 hectares and is made up of 3 grape varieties:
Meunier (45%) and Pinot noir (35%), which bring deliciousness, complexity and structure, and 25% Chardonnay, which completes the blends with its freshness and elegance.
The estate's vines are planted mainly in the Premier Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims around Ludes, the family stronghold.
70% of the vines are planted in LUDES, VILLE-DEMANGE, SERMIERS, CHIGNY LES ROSES and VILLERS -ALLERAND.
